Hand-Tied Wefts / Volume Wefts

Perfect for adding length and volume with a seamless blend. These wefts are sewn into a beaded foundation for a comfortable, secure, and natural look.

K-Tip (Keratin Bond Extensions)

Individual strands bonded with keratin for customizable fullness and movement. Ideal for clients wanting longer wear and less maintenance between appointments.

I-Tip (Beaded Extensions)

Installed without heat or glue, using beads to secure each strand. A great option for flexibility and reusability.

Tape-In Extensions

How to Take Care of Your Bellami Extensions.

Washing & Conditioning

Wash less often — 1 to 2 times per week is usually enough.
Use sulfate-free, extension-safe shampoo & conditioner to keep the hair healthy and avoid dryness.
Detangle before washing and gently wash in a downward motion — never rub or twist the hair.
Condition from mid-lengths to end only (avoid the bonds, tapes, or beads).

Drying & Styling

Always air-dry roots and bonds/wefts first before using heat to prevent slipping.
If blow-drying, use low-to-medium heat setting and a heat protectant.
Avoid high-heat on the bonds or tapes — this can weaken them.
Hot tools are safe with protectant, but keep them below 350°F (180°C)

Brushing & Sleeping

Use a boar bristle or extension brush to detangle daily, starting at the ends and working up.
Hold your roots when brushing to reduce tension on your natural hair.
Never go to bed with wet hair — make sure extensions are fully dry.
Sleep with your hair in a loose braid or low ponytail to prevent tangling.

Products to Avoid

Oils, conditions, or serums applied near the bonds or tape.
Heavy hairsprays or products with alcohol that dry out the hair.
Purple shampoo on extensions unless directed by your stylist (it can sometimes shift tones unevenly).
Chemical sunscreens that contain avobenzone, as this ingredient can discolour hair extensions, especially blonde ones, causing permanent pink or orange-brassy hue by reacting with UV light and oxidizing.

Maintenance

Schedule a maintenance appointment every 6-8 weeks (depending on your method) to move up or adjust your extensions.
Follow your stylist's aftercare recommendations for your specific method.
